Celebrate the Light

Remember when you were a child and could easily find joy and wonder in small things. As adults we sometimes forget what that feeling is like or face challenges that thwart that feeling. While life is delivering its ups and downs, it helps to focus on the light even for a few short minutes each day.

I worked with a mindset coach that stressed small daily habits lead to positive change. She’s right. I began starting my day by writing down three things I am grateful for, acknowledging the positive and then tackling the to do list with a grounded focus. I also make the effort to pick clothes and accessories that I love. Some days it's as simple as adding lipstick, a scarf and smiling more.

Celebrate the light. Take care of you so you can show up stronger for yourself and others.
